Since 1949, the Halls High Band has built a network of over 4,700 alumni and earned 89 awards from across the country.  Under the direction of Eric Baumgardner, students participate in a variety of ensembles including Marching Band, Concert and Symphonic Band, Indoor Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Band, Color Guard and Winter Guard, as well as solo opportunities and private lessons. Equally important to the academic benefits, participating in the band program allows our students to gain valuable life skills such as leadership, discipline, commitment, responsibility, teamwork, self-confidence, creativity, and perseverance - just to name a few.
