BAND BOOSTERS

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." -Margaret Mead

BAND BOOSTERS

The association meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Halls High School cafeteria. All band parents are encouraged to attend.

The HBBA is a volunteer organization of hard-working parents and friends of the band, whose sole mission is to do their part in providing the resources needed to develop a successful fine arts education for all students in the band.

We have an excellent group of board members and booster members who are dedicated to supporting our band students in every way. We rely on Booster volunteers, area organizations, businesses and individuals to work together to achieve our goals.

Our Booster Board consist of the following:

  • President

  • Vice-President

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • Volunteer Chair

  • Concessions Chair

  • Fundraising Chair

  • Merchandise Chair

  • Operations Chair
  • Alumni Chair

  • Social Media Chair

The HBBA supports the HHS Band curriculum classes as well as extracurricular activities such as the Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Indoor Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Color Guard. The organization raises money to purchase musical instruments and pay for repairs, marching informs and concert wear, sheet music, transportation to performances and competitions, and instruction costs—just to name a few essential items. We cooperate fully with the band directors, school administrations and the Knox County Board of Directors so that the band program at Halls High School can be maintained at the highest standards of excellence.
